I totally agree that some of his jokes were toned down and he look very tired. The religious aspect was fine for me but I feel that like most Black celebrity men, they know the formula: sing, dance, church it up. I don’t doubt Jamie had an experience, and he had a spiritual moment, but I know the formula.

As far as being sickly— now that I think on it, I was very colicky according to mom and was/is partially anemic. Always having stomach bugs all through school years. What’s funny is that I began getting sick much less as an adult and went a few years without even catching a cold.
