I thoroughly enjoyed this article, mainly for its honesty and as a writer we have to be honest with ourselves about our talent and honest with others.

It is very rare that I actually see a great critique online though. Some readers tear writers apart as if they are on a mission to rip souls but haven't a clue of how to give constructive criticism. I personally can take criticism and I am still learning and growing as a writer.

As you astutely put: "Searching for ways to improve" is the key. I purposely buy grammar books and use the practice exercises and will never delude myself into thinking I am such a Great writer. Nope. I enjoy the journey to learning. Thanks again for your thoughts!
