I think the hope of an ROI is what gets people. In a relationship, it is based on loving one another which is true and not hoping for a return on investment. But is it wrong to expect fair treatment? Should we not expect that?

However when an ROI is promised, it hurts the other person who doesn’t see it. Granted, those of us who still believe, still love and trust God with the Hope that we’ll fend off diseases. Hope that children can stop being harmed and stop being born with diseases. It is a lot of hope we have. Most damage is caused by us humans too, so I acknowledge that but we must also acknowledge that God is seemingly very quiet, even to those who love Him.
