I think a LOT of married women should read this article, because it boils down to respecting oneself. No matter what station of life you are in, you should always have some self- respect and nurture your talents- married or not. Especially while married because as you've said, the love winds do change and you must be ready.

No one wants to be in their 40's having to go back home, un-pampered and with no clue. That is sad actually, and I say this with pity and care. No one wants that. Meanwhile, the former husband finds a new woman quickly(not unusual) and most likely feels great and moves on....
