I Never Thought I’d See The Day When A Tyler Perry Show Would Have A Mature Rating
‘Ruthless’ is rough, daunting, and not quite what I expected…
On October 2021, I wrote an article explaining the 4 Subconscious Reasons You Want To Follow a Dangerous Cult Leader, in that article, I argue that it is people who fuel these cults. A cult cannot survive without individuals possessing certain mentalities that draw them to dangerous cult leaders.
In 2020, Tyler Perry launched his darkest show yet — produced under his deal with Viacom/CBS. I was not going to watch this show because lately, I have not been interested in anything by Tyler Perry, but my husband and I are fans of The Oval and began to see overlaps of the plot between the Rakudushi’s involvement with the main characters on the show.
I promise you, I did not want to watch it, but while reading or working on projects I would watch a few scenes with my husband and was like, “Oh my God!”
Which is pretty much what I say throughout the whole show. We are literally on Season 3 now. So, what is the show about, and is this the writing we should expect from Tyler Perry in the near future?
