I nearly forgot I can only give 50 claps! I enjoyed this honest article.

It kind of reminded me of Superbowl #50. Beyonce performed alongside Bruno Mars and Coldplay but I remember whites(and blacks) saying her part should not have been in the performance.

Interestingly enough, a black woman who worked with me at the time said Beyonce looked demon possessed during the performance....

o...kay...

It was weird to me because although I was never a hardcore Beyonce fan, I thought the song and performance was amazing and so pro black! She was uplifting her heritage, her daughter's looks, blackness and in a showstopping manner.

But yeah, entertaining others is never a win for us- there has to be a systemic change.
