I Hate To Agree With This Televangelist, But She’s Right

The truth is right in our faces, but we happily put on our hedonistic, rose-colored glasses.🫠

A very, very long time ago, when I was at least 15 or 16, I used to watch Joyce Meyer’s Life In the Word. I never minded getting up before 6:30 just to catch her teaching. It was different from other pastors who hacked and spit and coughed while preaching, meanwhile she always just stood and spoke to her audience about her life experiences and how there was life in God’s Word.

She has since changed the title of her teaching to just her name I think, but I’ll never forget when she stood and proudly said,

“We may not know when the last day will be, but I tell you we are one day closer than we were before. Look at the world today! What is up is now down, what is right is now wrong!”

Even though I have a bone to pick with preachers and televangelists, her message rang true.

We are living in a world where common sense and truth are debated down using emotions and misinformation. We have too much emotion and too much information.
