I appreciate your candidness and the examples you’ve given.

I never thought about that though: the fact that I as a married woman is expected to cook when I work the same hours as my husband. In reality, I do cook during the work week and he does on weekends(sometimes), and he is very clean and tidy so I don’t worry over that. But again, I do cook during the week even when tired. I am blessed that for a time, my husband did the housework and cooking when I picked up more hours. I’ll always love him for that.

Even though I’m happily married, I fear that the generation of women after me will have a garbage pick of the litter when it comes to men. There will be SOME good men out there of course. I’m not entirely pessimistic. Marriage in general is HARD and it’s REWARDING. But to deal with men who don’t appreciate a woman’s worth, is worse.
