I Am Told Exercise Can “Cure” Diabetes

Since becoming a Type 2 Diabetic, I’ve changed my workout routine and here are the results

Since being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2023, I have been reading books, essays, and watching videos of people who either have this condition or who are experts, say that “Exercise is the key to curing Type 2 Diabetes”

However, they explain that Type 2 Diabetes can NEVER be cured, so the acceptable term is “remission”. I give this the side eye 👀

Anyway, here is my daily exercise routine:

Early Morning:

  • Morning Makko Ho stretches
  • 20 second plank(I used to be able to do this longer)

Early Afternoon:

  • Cardio(in the form of biking or walking) for 15 minutes

Early evening/Late evening:

  • Cardio/Strength Training for 15 minutes

You may be wondering why my exercises are broken up into smaller chunks.

This is a part of my atomic habit.

There was a time I could do a full 30–45 minute workout, but these days I wheeze tremendously afterwards, so I do fifteen minutes of cardio/strength training in the morning/afternoon, and fifteen…
