I am so glad for the responses I am receiving.

I want the guys/males/men to understand that although I am fully onboard with community building and respecting and supporting MY man, I do still understand why Black women are responding a certain way to Tichina's comment.

Black women already are the leaders in their communities and are counted on to march and bring about change when something happens to Black men.

So, even though it "takes two" and we know men have feelings, etc. In THIS era Black Women are demanding respect. And if Black women do not receive respect, one cannot expect her to do anything for them. This goes for all races of men/women who count on Black women all the time.
