I am currently reading Liz Lenz’s book so when I saw your article in the algorithm, I had to read this and you did not disappoint! I am married but also understand that we as women do lose ourselves in a marriage: our own beliefs, whether we want to relocate or not , etc. it does change us. For some, it is no big deal and our husbands are compassionate…but it is still important for a woman to live by herself for several years to understand her own identity.
