Homeowners Can’t Get Rid of Squatters?!
The latest craziness in the world is happening — Airbnb renters are now wanting to stay past the deadline, regardless to how homeowners feel about it
It’s like something out of a nightmare.
A woman said she sublet one of her rooms to a tenant to help with her mortgage and decided to go on her vacation. When she got back, the renter was still there and was supposed to have left three days prior.
You read that right.
The renter was STILL there.
The situation gets much worse.
As the homeowner is recording, talking with us, you see the “squatter” walking around as if she owns the place and she is smoking in the house! How horrid!
The homeowner goes on to state she went the legal route and discovered that due to US squatter rights, if the woman has been there at least 30 days, she is now a “tenant” there. The cops were called and they only questioned if the woman was renting or not, according to the homeowner.
The nasty renter yells in the background, “If you even think of going into my room, I’ll call the cops on you!”
