Hi! I literally agree with all you wrote here! I just did a mini podcast on why I am saying this. My husband and I talk about this all the time: when we see characters with tan skin and dark eyes we jump for joy because it makes sense. Also, no one could answer us why the character have blue eyes all the time so I gave up asking. I am well aware of the anti blackness in the Asian communities and have written about it on here a few times.

My position now is that instead of begging Asians to include us, we can now invest in ourselves( we can still watch and enjoy all anime), but it’s great to see and appreciate our images too😀
