Hi Destiny and thank you for reading! As a newbie years ago, I started with Escaflowne and InuYasha. Personally, I’d suggest starting with a fav genre. Over on Swell, when I suggest mangas, I ask: What genres appeal to you? If you’re like I am and enjoy action/adventure then HunterxHunter is a great start!

I personally enjoy action/adventure/romance, so I typically suggest newbies watch InuYasha, Escaflowne, etc. The Promised Neverland was so good! So is Attack on Titan and Death Note, my sister who never like anime enjoys horror movies so I suggested Attack on Titan to her and she loved it!
