I am loving your response here! I love how you are able to process that your mother was strong in a gentle sense of the word. This enables you to view women positively and not see us as objects or “ creatures”.

Yes, having both parents is ideal, I agree— not many people have that reality. Me and my sis were raised by dad, so we were able to view how men should act: protective, doting, respectful , resourceful and confident.

We still have our mom in our life and always have, as well as aunties as women mentors to give that nice “ womanly” balance to things.

Now, I can mentor others.
