Here’s Why Most “Off Griders” Can Go Off the Grid and You Cannot
The unspoken ingredient to cheaper living
First off, I am not in any way trying to talk negative. I just wanted to paint a realistic picture for those of us who are tired of the burdensome taxes, increase in rent and food bills, and who are just plain wanting to live simply again. It can be done, but I noticed that those who can live “off the grid”- have one thing in common.
They have money.
Lots of it.
Simple as that.
A few RV Living Youtubers I follow and others who have “left corporate America” — are living a pretty serene life posting YouTube videos or living minimally.
How do they do it?
The rest of us live paycheck to paycheck and in a fit of irony, we realize that we hate having to pay high rent and utility bills but also love the convenience of location. We love our domicile. Our special book nooks. We love having money to be able to sit quietly in a coffee shop, and order what we like. We love having food prepared for us, or shopping for our own foods in a grocery store, not grow our own.
