Here’s Another Reason People Don’t Like Church Folk
A server laments how church folks don’t tip, yet they do this instead…
I was a “church folk” at one time, and even I never did this. It is deplorable and it makes all Believers look really bad.
On April 16th, a tik toker posted a video detailing how that instead of receiving tips from the post-church folks that day, she received Scriptures.
Scriptures.
The young server goes on to mention that this was not just an April 16th thing. The same customers every week do the same thing.
This is not okay.
When me and the hubby go out, we tip cashiers, servers, associates — with REAL money. If we give an encouraging Word or Scripture, it is with money. Why do we do this though? We do this because we understand that there is a divide between the spiritual and the physical worlds. We are still on Earth, and on Earth we still have bills. Why deprive hard workers of that 10 or 15 percent gratuity?
The bible speaks on “Giving good gifts.” John 1:13 and Luke 11:13 talks about good, heavenly gifts from above. Perfect gifts from God.
How much more should we treat each other? Those we can see here and now?
