Day 5 was interesting.

As I closed my eyes and sat with legs folded under me, concentrating on my hara, I just thought of nothing. Which is the point, but the goal is to realize you WILL think of SOMETHING.

I became air this time and just let any sound, any thought pass through me.

That’s when an image of Eleven from Stranger Things on Netflix, popped up in my head, with her arms outstretched stopping two gross monster tentacles at the same time from destroying her friends.

I do know why she popped up in my head. My husband and I have been binge watching Stranger Things last week, and now Eleven and Eggos are our favorite now. Yet, why would she and that scene pop into my mind at that particular moment when I was not even thinking of that show?

Perhaps she has qualities we should aspire to. She says few words. She is there for her friends no matter what. She is darn near self-sacrificing and powerful. She is just a young girl, but her stature and age don’t matter she is powerful. Using her power of telekinesis and other gifts.

Most importantly, she is DIFFERENT. I love being different.
