Day 4 was so interesting.

Not only was I excited to meditate, but I did it with no hesitation and with the INTENTION of just breathing. Becoming water. Letting sounds reverberate through me.

All of a sudden, the word thankful came to mind.

I was quiet, but I couldn’t be for long. I began to just say thank you. To God. To the universe. To life. Even to the bad things that happened to me in my life. Thankful for even the negative characters that popped up in my life.

I said, “Thank you” out loud over and over almost every minute (I suppose it was every minute).

Side Note: Lately it has been super DIFFICULT to keep up a rigorous daily meditation time because I’d skip a day, make up a day and then feel bad about it. So far on this journey, I am learning that setting a morning routine is essential. For anyone. It’s the INTENTION that may change, because — change is the only constant.

I’m not a morning person. At all. Lately, I do rise early because of my new job which is the staggering 8–5 type shift. I enjoy the beautiful colors in the mornings and how the birds sing sweeter in the day, but EARLY morning keeps the crust…
