Great point! And because the responsibility of accountability lies with the men, the men have to choose to be decent. We can’t change them— because we cannot change them, we must change ourselves. As a Black woman raised by a man, I was taught to be educated and to defend myself because the men in my community typically do not stand up in manhood. I’m blessed to have a wonderful husband of course, but only the man in the mirror can change himself. I hope this explains my thought clearly, didn’t mean to be long winded 😅
