Great article! It reminds me of the Tik Tok dances that go viral. I do not have Tik Tok and am not interested, but there have been several articles about black dancers' moves being stolen by whites and it is only the whites that actually gain popularity and fame from it, not the blacks. Sure, no one "owns" dances, but dance is a part of a culture, specifically a type of dance.
