In James Rollins' Map of Bones novel, the bulk of the story rests on the fact that there is no mentioning of how many magi were present in the bible. I literally reread those chapters in the bible myself. Lo and behold, there is no recording of 3 magi in the bible.

Also, I think the expression “God helps those who help themselves” is an expression conservatives use when they do not want to truly help those in need.
