Great, and touching article here. I enjoyed the conclusion immensely because we already live with labels. do we really need them? Nope.
However, for the sake of discussion when people would ask me what I believed, I would say Christian, because, well, I went to Christian churches and held the same Christian values.
As I got older though, I began to "modify" my beliefs, and even now this is hard to write because I know I am but a god with a little "g" and can't modify the past or power, but with my Scripture readings and Christian beliefs, I also actually enjoy reading koans and learning about Buddha. According to my readings, he may have wanted to be regarded as a teacher rather than a god anyway?
I now know the true definition of religion though. It is the connecting of two words: reli+ligion" or connecting ligaments...or connecting back to God. So, yes I suppose I am religious too :)
