My reaction to the ‘Wakanda Forever’ teaser trailer

The Wakanda Forever trailer should get an Oscar or Emmy.

I just watched, probably one the most emotional trailer ever — and this is coming from someone who watches a LOT of trailers on YouTube. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever slams you in the gut when you least expect it but just the teaser alone delivers a message and stunning performance.

Since Chadwick’s passing in 2020, we all shed tears, probably for several weeks and then the questions soon came:

“Who will be the next Black Panther?”

“There can never be another Chadwick!”

“There can never be another Black Panther. Period.”

“Maybe Shuri will take up the mantle?”

The trailer opens with No Woman No Cry as Lupita Nyong’o I assume, stands along the shores. The visuals are stunning but as I watched, I became choked up because of the lyrics from Bob Marley and the Wailers:
