Every Situation Is Perverted and Possibly Immoral In This Anime
But I love it for some strange reason, go figure
If you’ve read my 5 Things I Truly Dislike In Anime article, you already know how I feel about some aspects of it, but I love it anyway.
First Love Monster is about a high school student named Kaho, who falls for a 5th grader named Kanade. The thing about Kanade and his friends is that they are GIANT for their age. They are built like 20-year-old men while Kaho is a tiny girl who quite frankly, looks like a 5th grader herself.
A reviewer on Amazon wrote that she questioned why she is reading this series and cannot stop because it is so good.
When Kaho meets Kanade, it is under a dangerous situation: She is about to get hit by a truck when Kanade swoops out of nowhere and saves her. From there, he tells her she is an idiot but cute and she falls in love.
More like lust.
Kaho makes it blatantly clear she lusts for Kanade’s body but she could do without him and friends' constant fascination with “poop and wieners”. Then there are the super confusing moments when Kanade would have a glitch in his mind and begins speaking as if he is 40 years old and wise…
