Episode 1 of Netflix’s ‘Dahmer’ Begins In An Interesting Way

Here is my brief review of the show and reaction

Warning: I do not want to in ANY way, shape or form, glorify this monster. I am simply giving an overview of the show as well as my reaction. Some material mentioned here may gross you out or be very off-putting.

By now, everyone may have heard of Jeffrey Dahmer. I admit, I still don’t know too much about him outside of what comedians said about him and brief whispers of him being a cannibal that enjoys “brown and dark meat”. However, Netflix dropping this show on us, is not without critical reception.

According to LA Times, one of the victim’s family is not pleased with rehashing the events. Especially the scene where one of the victim’s sister, played by DaShawn Barnes, is going off on Dahmer in the courtroom.

The family (Perry, the cousin of the victim) basically tweeted that showing these Dahmer movies over and over as documentaries, short films, and shows is like reliving a nightmare.
