Employees Are Quitting, But Is It The Customers’ Fault?
The fast-food industry has work to do but so do we
In a previous post, I gave reasons why people did not want to go to work these days and personally, they are valid reasons.
I wanted to take a look at the other side of things though: How has the fast-food industry fared during this pandemic?
McDonald’s revenue as of 2020 is reportedly is 19.21 billion dollars, compared 2019 when they grossed 21.364 billion.
Places like Starbucks have been coming under fire lately from customers who are not getting their orders fast enough or accurate enough; calls for unionization are brewing faster than their Frappuccinos.
Since mid-2020, customer service has been sour, to say the least. Granted we all aren’t trying to work anyway, dealing with customers who don’t appreciate you is not a life.
However.
If you are angry at people for ordering food and/or not putting your all into your work, perhaps you should quit.
Stop bringing your bad attitude to work. Last year when fast food was starting to open back up. My husband and I were content with cooking at home, we usually do anyway, but we had a craving for some McDonald’s fries and fish sandwiches.
