Demon Slayer’s Mugen Train: The Movie Is Worth Watching
You will not leave with dry eyes
After reviewing Demon Slayer, I took a couple of days to spend with family, cook, read -all the while pondering if I should watch this anime movie.
I rarely watch anime movies.
It’s still a mystery to me. Not a bad mystery, but kind of intriguing because I am tempted to watch them but am so used to episodic animes. The one movie I did watch, Inuyasha: Affections Touching Across Time, was pretty good but it was so long ago when I watched it.
Are movies a tie-in or just- movies?
I don’t know. What I do know is that when I read the summary for Demon Slayer Mugen Train, I was shocked to learn it literally picks up where season 1 leaves off. So, basically two hours of greatness.
Yes, it was 2 hours of greatness.
Tanjiro and his comrades are on a mission of despair. If you recall from season 1, Tanjiro’s family was brutally murdered by a demon and his sweet sister ended up becoming one, but she travels with him and fights demons too.
Mugen Train has action. Emotion. Backstory. Great artwork. What more could I have asked for?
