Deleting Became My Friend
And other tried and true ways of life for a decluttered kind of peace
I will be the first to tell you that I can be a cluttery type of person at times with some organizational skills. However, these past couple of years or so I have been seeing results from doing tiny things around the house and in my work life that seriously allows for more space and opportunity.
Making up my bed in the morning- no shortcuts!
When I was a teen, I finally beamed proudly at the handy work I would do to my bed. I wish I had those pictures! I hated doing the bed early, but when I made it up, it spruced up the whole room in seconds!
Why is this so important? Well, what if company comes by and wants to see your room? Or as an adult when we call the maintenance to fix something, they have to go through our bedroom and the worst thing to have happen is to have the bed look like a tornado bumped the bed once or twice.
This may seem like something so small, but I love taking just a few minutes in the morning to make the bed up so the room looks nice.
