Dear Extroverts, I Am Not You and Will Never Be
I know I am in a world dominated by extroverts, but I feel introverts are being judged harshly
Dear Extroverts,
I am not like you and will never be like you because I am me. Sometimes you don’t mean to be harsh and other times I think you hope your sarcasm and toxic logic will “straighten me out” and make me want to jump up and be around those like you.
You are sadly mistaken if you think your taunts will change my God given temperament. You truly think that the world should be a bumbling place where we are all touchy feely, loud noise, and go-getters? If that is the world you paint, then paint it for yourself.
Before you put on the gaslight, let me remind you that we can have world peace without too much association all the time. Granted, there are introverts who don’t mind company and small gatherings. I am one of them. I enjoy the company of a friend or two as long as they let me know when they are dropping by.
Some introverts do not like to answer their phone, so please Extrovert, do not take this to heart and feel that people like me do not like you. We love conversation but on our terms. This means if you text me or email me, I’ll respond faster, that way I can continue in quiet. Plus, I don’t…
