Black Women: Moving Forward, Please Stop Doing This, and Do THIS Instead

A new year is approaching and my heart bleeds for the Black women of the world, but we need to be wise

I just finished reading Rosalyn Morris ‘s article on Black Men and Their Men and Their Trophy Children— the article was well written(as usual from her) and inspired by a video that has circulated of Black UK men celebrating a Father and Daughter Day, while none of their children looked “clearly Black”. Unfortunately, the Black women who pointed this fact out were called bitter and undesirable.

Black women — I need you to stop. Okay? Stop.

Don’t you realize by now that when you respond to these colorists, they climax from your anger? They are unhinged and hateful, and they swallow every comment from you like it’s their final meal of sustenance.

Stop handing over your power and do THIS instead!

Ignore them

I’m not doing any disclaimers because I already know there are good Black men out there. My dad was one and my husband IS one.

So, Black women, stop going up under these posts where unhinged Black men are clearly sending the message that their partners and biracial kids will always “be better…
