Last year, I wrote about my experience trying to learn Python in my late 30s. I did not have a lot of positive things to say about my experience except that it seems to be easier to understand than other programming languages, and during that year I had dreams of getting that perfect job developing websites and games.

It didn’t happen because I let doubt get in the way and I kept comparing myself to the younger crowd who already grasp this stuff.

Fast forward to now — I’ve decided to pick up coding again, and this time I want to do things differently. I am slightly older now and desire to keep track of what I am learning while keeping in mind why I am learning coding.

Here are some steps I will take in my coding adventure:
