A White Woman Says Black People Can’t Stop Her From Doing This…
She is actually right, but…
This year we saw the passing of the C.R.O.W.N Act (which stands for Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair), this is a law prohibiting discrimination of natural hair styles like locks, twists, braids, etc. We all know that this pertains to Black men and women and how we have been treated negatively simply because of the texture of our hair.
Now, this brings me to a fire engine red haired white woman on Tik Tok who is yelling(yes, screaming and cursing) at the screen because she wants to know who told African Americans that we should be the only ones to wear false lashes, long nails, and speak with a blaccent?
She yells,
“I am in a biracial relationship and I am around Black people all day! I know Black people! I am from da ‘hood!” *Insert eye roll*
Her anger is severely misplaced.
What this “woman” is failing to understand, is that of course Black people can’t make someone NOT wear false lashes and long nails. However, Black women are more than just Cosplay* costumes.
Plus, not all Blacks are born in “da ‘hood”.
