A Strong Introversion Towards the Holidays
It’s that time of year again, homebodies, introverts, and bookworms — what will you do?
If you clicked on this article — then you NEEDED this.
Badly.
No one will understand your strong anxiety towards the end of this year. No one except for me.
Your family and friends will tell you one of three things when you tell them you prefer not to celebrate this year:
“It’s only once a year”
“That’s kind of cold. You don’t want to be around family?”
“Are you depressed?”
If you’re like me, then you are imagining finishing up that spicy erotic novel series you’ve been meaning to dive into. You may be trying to catch up on some crocheting projects.
You may even have some Netflix or Hulu shows lined up to watch.
For those of us with loved ones in the home — we may have been trying to stay lowkey and just play some board games or cuddle up and watch a good movie.
Unfortunately, those who have a strong aversion to being low key and alone will always view you as the Black Sheep or odd.
