6 Reasons No One Wants To Go Back to Work
Going back to work may seem ideal, but we don’t miss it
I wrote this last night before seeing Laura Ingraham go on her rant against “self-care”.
Glad I’m publishing this anyway…
If the Pandemic has taught us anything, going back to work does not have to be a mandate any longer. It is a choice.
During my time off from full-time work, I’ve realized that my job not only paid me, it took something from me too.
1. Re-establishing a fresh routine is ideal for living Your best life.
I can’t believe I survived my work life.
Don’t get me wrong — I actually liked my job. Well, the coworkers were nice and I miss the contests and potlucks. Yet, when I look back, I don’t know how I survived: getting up at 6 am, getting the Lyft, having Lyft stop by a fast food place so I can get some grub, spend the few minutes I have in a breakroom to wolf down my food.
Then take calls from annoying customers.
I did this every. Single. Day. I went when it rained. I went when I was tired. I went when instead I just wanted to curl up in bed and read.
