6 Odd Things About Doctor ‘Black Jack’
An old school anime that’s actually binge worthy
There’s just something about a classic anime that is perfect for afternoons to watch and provide fun at the same time. The anime Black Jack is that anime(2006), and I believe it has 52 episodes plus a movie— I watched the show on Amazon Prime Video.
Black Jack is about an unorthodox doctor whose claim to fame is having “god-like surgical abilities” and he lives alone on a cliff…well, he has Pinoko, a small live-in assistant, if you will.

1. I thought Black Jack was some Frankenstein person
I mean, look at him.
I didn’t judge him of course, it actually gave him some kind of flair having a stitched up face and I believe his leg is artificial too(there is a backstory on that).
It didn’t help that he wears a long, dark cloak all the time. Like — all. The. Time. There are a few times he removes his cloak and to be honest, this is not totally cringy for me, just different.
