50 claps for this!

I have done articles and vlogs about the importance of atomic habits and I absolutely love the book by James Clear, but I notice some interesting things too.

For one, in 2021 when I was applying atomic habits concepts, I was able to develop a good meditation routine for thirty days. I also turned off all devices an hour before bed time, thus, enabling me to go to bed earlier than 3am. (these days I hit the hay by 11pm which is still a huge improvement). But overall I've seen success--but only during that time.

I read other books about living life and living it with joy, and being present one day at a time,; they kind of outshined Atomic Habits, just a little.

Everything you discussed here, leads me to the conclusion that you were looking for balance to your life. Like I was, and still am. It's okay to have small, stackable good routines, but be flexible enough to say, "Hey I can do this tomorrow or I can just BE for today." Take things one day at time as you've said. the beauty of listening to experts is that there is no "one size fits all". Each have their advice on living life. We are all trying to understand things in this world. Right now, I am reading a book on Ikigai and it is a huge help on understanding why I am here.
