Here is my brief list of non-fiction books from different categories. Get your tea or coffee, and notepad ready!

Enjoy!

1. Wild Ink by Victoria Hanley

If you are wondering how to write and captivate the YA audience before publishing, then this book is for you.

The author dives deep into the stats of who actually reads YA novels and what to watch out for when considering publishing for the youth. A word of advice:

The average YA novel is 325 pages according to the book. However, this publishing guide was published in 2012. The latest YA novels I have read are between 500 and 900 pages these days.

I did not read the book in its entirety from front to back. I think it helped that I jumped into topics that truly spoke to my writer soul. It is still a great necessity to have on the side if you are exploring writing for young adults.

2. The Little Book of Living Small by Laura Fenton, Weston Wells

I love this book so much!
