4 Reasons Why There Is No Cure For Being Human
A look at the ebb and flow of why we’re damaged strengths of beauty
I have just completed reading Kate Bowler's There's No Cure for Being Human (And Other Truths I Need to Hear). It's a touching memoir by a Christian woman whose PhD and extensive studies in Religion did not prepare her for a diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer.

There’s no cure for being human because…
Any other cure has been tried already.
Herbal remedies.
Voodoo.
Religion.
