4 Moments When It Is Not Okay To Be An Introvert
Introverts have their code to live by, but we need to grow a backbone
Previously, I wrote an article about dealing with introverts, now I want to turn the tables a bit and explore situations where being an introvert is not conducive in every situation.
For the record, this is hard for me to write because I think introverts have a great, yet passive way to deal with life’s curveballs, but here are a few times when it is okay to come out of your shell.
When there’s a SUPER important event
I know you’re thinking: “What event will that be? The end of time?
No.
For me, it was my sister’s first baby shower.
I am not into gatherings and creating games and being the lively host, but that was special to me. I’ll never forget it: I actually made some bbq mini-links(whatever they’re called), went online to download game ideas for baby showers, and went around the room to entertain folks.
All I did was sit and chill with family.
What helped is that the gathering was not even large and it was comprised of my best friend and closest family.
