4 Embarrassing Statements I’ve Made As a Christian(In the Past)

Over the years I’ve said dumb things that I thought was smart because I copied someone, I thought was smart.
Well, I will not say that the older church folk and family members were stupid, but sometimes as Christians, we only spew what we’ve been taught. So much so, that we think it is biblical. I mean it sounds like it makes sense but does it really?
1. “I Pay tithes, this is why I am getting blessed”
Listen. I’ve said this before. Not to shame anyone but it was a “teachable moment”. Finding an extra $50 in my bank account or getting a little more back on tax returns than I thought, would turn into a moment to dance.
It had to be all dem tithes I paid.
Ignoring the fact I did have a job, so yes, of course I’d be blessed.
